My Approach to Healing

Healing starts with a sense of wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. If your life or your body feel broken, it’s all too easy to feel like Humpty Dumpty in spirit. But the truth is, even if a part of you feels broken, your spirit remains whole. It’s your natural spiritual wholeness that fuels the journey to wellness of body (health), mind (worry, feeling down, stress), and spirit (the call of your life purpose and caring connection to others).

Create A Sacred Space

How can you make a broken feeling into a good day much less a good life? It starts with creating a sacred space inside yourself where you not only remember, but also experience that you’re whole.

What’s come in between you and your happiness? Using techniques from hypnosis, health coaching, family constellations, meditation, and information about your learning preferences, Dr. Stone works with you to realign your body, mind, and spirit.

Weed Your Life,
Grow Your Heart’s Desire

Like any garden, sometimes there are weeds—old traumas, bad habits, addictions, pain, stress, difficult relationships, work challenges, dietary/physical distress—that have to be weeded out for the garden to flourish and bloom. There are many ways using hypnosis, health coaching, and family constellations to clear away these weeds so your garden can grow. The techniques Dr. Stone uses help you to feel more embodied. With embodiment comes greater strength of mind, body, purpose, creativity, flow, and health. She works with clients according to their priorities and at their own speed to release and correct imbalances so the body, mind, and spirit come into equilibrium, ease, and comfort.

Dr. Stone is a certified hypnotist and certified health coach with two years of training in family constellations. She’s personally experienced and healed from dire and crippling medical diagnoses. Her own healing, against the medical odds, gives her a unique and optimistic perspective on the possibilities.  She works with each individual according to their specific needs. She’s worked with clients to help them feel better and flourish in many areas including:

Custom Hypnosis &
Health Coaching

In a one-on-one hypnosis/health-coaching session, Dr. Stone develops a customized script using your golden words (unique positive words that trigger healing for you) and other important information she learns from you during the intake portion of your session. You will talk about what it is you want to manifest in your life and what you want to leave behind. Throughout each session, she connects you to your spiritual resources, helps you develop and anchor your inner strengths, and guides you into physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ease. Using hypnosis, you absorb the language associated with your own joy and success and your desired goals come to you with greater ease. She also helps you learn to use these tools on your own so when your sessions are over you have the tools to maintain ease and health independently.

Though unconscious beliefs can get stirred up and create resistance when we try to change them, hypnosis processes can help clear unconscious beliefs, resolve the resistance, and instill new beliefs that feel better.

One Word at a Time

I was told after a devastating bicycle accident that I would likely end up in a wheelchair on a morphine pump managing chronic pain. But I knew that wasn’t my destiny. People who knew me then and know me now tell me I’m a walking miracle. It didn’t happen overnight, but each day I took a step toward recovery. Some days were slow, but each day I found the words, tools, and strength to change pain into ease.

Each day I took another step until walking down the hall became walking down the street. Walking down the street became walking around the block. Walking around the block turned into a one mile walk, then two, then three, then four, then five or more miles.

Healing any part of your body, your life, or your mental-emotional state starts with one step, one word—finding the very first word that makes you feel better. I can help you find the first word and turn it into a sentence, a paragraph, and a habit that brings you the change you need to live a good life. Even on days when you don’t believe it’s possible for you, I’m committed to being your guide and cheerleader.

You Make The Road By Walking

One of my personal mantras is: You Make The Road By Walking. When you walk, you take one step at a time. Each step is a movement toward the change you want. Think of it as the Yellow Brick Road. Each word is like a golden brick you use to build the road to the Oz of your personal choice. Is your Emerald City of Oz a pain-free state? Is it a new job? Is it weight loss or a healthier body? Is it a peaceful life with good friends? Is it a particular accomplishment you want to achieve in your career, as an athlete, as an artist? Is it an understanding of who you really are and your life purpose?

Or think of it this way. Along the way, we each experience disappointment and trauma to various degrees. This “crap” can be something that stinks up our lives or we can use it as fertilizer to gain strength and bloom.
